Sketchy Computer

My computer starts up only when it wants to, not when I want it to! It likes my husband better than me. I think I need to figure out how to blog from my blackberry until we can afford a new computer.

In the meantime, I am waiting for some yarn samples from a potential source…very excited!

I also have some great knitting ideas I will hopefully find time to execute on this lovely long weekend!! My baby has been better at napping. Or I am more disciplined.

Knitting in the Car

The car is my new favourite place to knit! Less distraction, when driving in the prairies there isn’t much to look at, and my baby sleeps. What more do I need?

Yesterday I was feeding my baby while at the computer and she fell asleep for a long time so I had a day away from knitting because she REALLY needed the nap and if I moved she would wake up. So I played in Photoshop. And I was learning how to make “lomo-like” photos in photoshop.

Here is my “Lomo-Like” columbine from yesterday! I think that the colour combination really pops!

My husband and I can’t agree which of these inukshuk photos is nicer. It is the same photo edited 2 different ways. If you happen along this post please put a comment stating your preference! This is from a hike we took 3 years ago!

In the evening I made these cranberry white chocolate scones! YUM.

Today is back to knitting!

No moreĀ naps!

My little 5 and a half month old has decided she doesn’t want naps this week. As a result, I am doing very little knitting. šŸ˜¦ Knowing her in a day or two she will crash and nap most of the day.

In the meantime I am becoming very addicted to Etsy. Was going to make my first purchase then the seller went on vacation! Hopefully she comes back soon because I need a hat for Winnipeg Folk Fest!
